IEEE Student Branch (IEEE)
IEEE Student Branches provide an opportunity that will help students to develop their professional identity in IEEE’s designated fields of interest such as sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics. An active IEEE Student Branch can be one of the most positive elements of academic career, offering programs, activities, and professional networking opportunities to the students that help them to build critical skills outside of the classroom.
IEEE student branch of GEC Kozhikode (GECK) was formed in 2012 with the aim of involving the students in technology based activities that lead to the development of humanity, which in turn paves the way for the professional development of the students. IEEE SB of GECK comes under Malabar subsection which in turn comes under the Kerala section.
An IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) affinity group and an IEEE Industry and Automation society (IEEE IAS) student branch was also formed in 2020.
We aim at providing the students opportunities for exploring new technologies in different engineering fields, by developing new professional platforms for networking thereby making them capable to grab the career opportunities.
Our Mission is to
